We arrived in São Paulo under the shadow of a cold front. The previous night had already hinted at what the alarm clock would confirm at 8:00 AM the next morning: a typically gray São Paulo day, marked by persistent overcast skies and a relentless rain.

The chosen setting was our usual retreat in the capital — a spacious duplex whose architectural lines favor our creative vision. The most striking feature of this space is the glass floor on the upper level, which allows us to explore zenith angles and unique perspectives over the living room, integrating the environments in a raw, geometric way.

Tereza arrived shortly after. Between casual conversation to break the ice and the makeup session, there was a sense of quiet anticipation. Although a professional model, this was her first nude session, and her apprehension was visible.

Our proposal to her was disarming: a normal day. The idea was for her to act as if she were just coming home, undressing at her own pace. With a calm demeanor, a low voice, and a soft-spoken manner, she accepted the challenge immediately. The session began in the kitchen; she went straight to the fridge, opened a beer (her standard ritual upon arriving home) and began to undress just as she speaks: slowly, softly, and without artifice.

What happened from that point on needs no textual description. Tereza’s presence before our lens and the harmony with the diffuse light of that rainy afternoon are imprinted in every frame. It was a special session.
